~ Current Focus & Interests ~

I'm currently working towards an Associate in Science degree in Computer Information Technology. I took two classes to learn about the basics of coding and programming. I'm currently a little fluent in Python. I originally had intentions of exploring cybersecurity, but didn't feel attached or interested enough to pursue it. So, I had decided that maybe I could find a career in developing websites or designing them visually I suppose. However, I always have that gnawing feeling that I should be doing something more creative and more me. I've always wanted to be a teacher, but didn't ever pursue it because of the lack of pay and current state of the education system. Now as I get older, I feel like I should just do what would make me happy. I'm debating on pursuing a different degree in education after I finish my current degree.

I've been focusing on my hobbies, interests, and health as much as I can lately. I figure I owe myself that much! I've invested time, money, and effort into rollerblading and running. I locked in so hard, I lost 15lbs this year! To build on that, I've been trying to eat healthier and prioritize whole foods. I like to tell myself that my body is a temple and I should treat it as such. I also have a little picture pinned on my wall that says "Life is only one." It's encouraging and honestly a motivating remider to just do the things you are waiting or too scared to do. I'd rather work a little harder or do it scared than regret not doing it.

I have two super cute cats named Finn and BMO. I named them after my favorite cartoon Adventure Time! I also have a betta fish named Kibble.

I love collecting manga and enjoy watching anime. I have completely collected all volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen and Fruits Basket. I'm currently thinking of starting to collect Tokyo Ghoul, a favorite of mine.

I enjoy running and rollerblading. I'm not super great at either, but I am determined to get better and it's what makes me happy! You can follow me on Strava. Don't expect olympic-level performance!

I also enjoy listening to music. Anywhere from R&B, indie, instrumentals, rock, rap, lofi, to country music. I'm open to all genres!
