~ Current Focus & Interests ~

I'm currently working towards an Associate in Science degree in Computer Information Technology. I took two classes to learn about the basics of coding and programming. I'm currently a little fluent in Python. I originally had intentions of exploring cybersecurity, but didn't feel attached or interested enough to pursue it. So, I had decided that maybe I could find a career in developing websites or designing them visually I suppose. However, I always have that gnawing feeling that I should be doing something more creative and more me. I've always wanted to be a teacher, but didn't ever pursue it because of the lack of pay and current state of the education system. Now as I get older, I feel like I should just do what would make me happy. I'm debating on pursuing a different degree in education after I finish my current degree.

I've been focusing on my hobbies, interests, and health as much as I can lately. I figure I owe myself that much! I've invested time, money, and effort into rollerblading and running. I locked in so hard, I lost 15lbs this year! To build on that, I've been trying to eat healthier and prioritize whole foods. I like to tell myself that my body is a temple and I should treat it as such. I also have a little picture pinned on my wall that says "Life is only one." It's encouraging and honestly a motivating reminder to just do the things you are waiting or too scared to do. I'd rather work a little harder or do it scared than regret not doing it.

I have two super cute cats named Finn and BMO. They're the cute little guys right above. I named them after my favorite cartoon Adventure Time! I also have a betta fish named Kibble.

I love collecting manga and enjoy watching anime. I have completely collected all volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen and Fruits Basket. I'm currently thinking of starting to collect Tokyo Ghoul, a favorite of mine.

Here is my collection and my favorite panels from volume 15, chapter 132 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

I enjoy running and rollerblading. I'm not super great at either, but I am determined to get better and it's what makes me happy! You can follow me on Strava. Don't expect olympic-level performance!

I also enjoy listening to music. Anywhere from R&B, indie, instrumentals, rock, rap, lofi, to country music. I'm open to all genres!

Here is my record player and my vinyls. My favorite vinyl is my Channel Orange album by Frank Ocean. He's my favorite artist! Unfortunately the vinyl is not authentic and is more like a copy/bootleg of the real album. The real one is TOO expensive.
